Game #1 was "Pin the Crown on the Princess". Let me tell you, trying to get ten 3,4 &5 year old's to not look under the blind fold was impossible. It was a close one! While we set up for the next activity "Princess India" was kind enough to grace us with her talents and read Cinderella for all of the princesses. It was so cute. India belongs to the local theater and is so talented in all aspects of the theatrical arts.
The next activity was decorating crowns. It was a really fun craft to do. There was a small amount of fighting over the self adhesive jewels but it was nothing a pretty flower couldn't fix.
Time to blow out the candles!
And finally the presents. Caroline was so happy for this part she eventually stopped messing with the cards all together. Gill, the dog, did make a visit but we were informed on Sunday night that his original raising family has first pick over keeping him. They are pretty sure that they don't want him, but for now we have to tell Caroline that Gill is just spending a couple of days with us. We should know more soon. This also means that I didn't get the pictures I was really wanting of her happy face when she learned that Gill would get to stay....soon.

Fab simply darling! Wish I could have been there. Me and Denali love to dress up as princesses!
I love that even some of the grown ups dressed for the big event! How awesome and of course, reading books- the perfect calm down activity for lots of little princesses!
